Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products. /p h3Job Objective /h3 pReporting to the Head of Manufacturing and being part of a manufacturing work team, she/he is responsible for testing and repairing electronic boards part of our product portfolio of air navigation equipment. /p pThe individual in this role is responsible for the integration of Military mechanical components with electronic boards (e.g., Apparatus, Antennas, Remote Controls), as well as with assemblies that do not include electronic parts (e.g., Antennas and mechanical sub assemblies). This includes troubleshooting and repairing assembled products as needed. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liIntegrate mechanical and electronic components in accordance with technical specifications. /li liAssemble and repair mechanical subassemblies with or without electronic components.



/li liRead and interpret electrical diagrams, manufacturing documentation, material specifications, and production cycle data. /li liApply knowledge of manufacturing processes and demonstrate proficiency in brazing techniques, ensuring high-quality joints and compliance with standards. /li liDepending on experience and skill level, participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) to validate product performance and compliance with project requirements and reference standards. /li /ul h3Skills, Experience And Qualifications /h3 ul liHigh school diploma in Mechanical or Electronics required; higher education is a plus. /li liProven ability to interpret technical and electrical schematics. /li liFamiliarity with production documentation and quality standards. /li liFamiliarity with soldering techniques (IPC certification is a plus). /li liAttention to detail and problem-solving skills for repair and troubleshooting. /li liAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a production environment. /li liPrevious experience in product testing or FAT is a plus and may be required for senior roles. /li li5–10 years of experience in electronics assembly or testing; RF (Radio Frequency) knowledge is preferred. /li liFamiliarity with Electronic Test Equipment and standard instrumentation (e.g., Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Network Analyzer, Power Meter, etc. /li liStrong adaptability, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills. /li liWorking knowledge of English is a plus /li /ul pAt Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
