A leading global investment management firm is seeking an experienced compliance professional to establish and lead its European compliance function. This is a senior, hands‑on opportunity with significant responsibility and scope to shape the firm’s European compliance framework.

The role will take ownership of day‑to‑day compliance and AML matters, act as MLRO, report to the Board and manage regulatory relationships with CONSOB and Banca d'Italia.
We are looking for:

- 10+ years' EU asset management compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulation, SGRs, UCITS management companies and AIFMs
- Experience across MiFID II, DORA, AML and cross‑border passporting xjncmbx
- Professional fluency in English/Italian
- Confidence engaging with regulators, senior stakeholders and global teams
