Overview

In this role, you lead a multidisciplinary team across Italy, Spain, and France to ensure consistent, high-quality leather sorting for classic and exotic materials. You act as the key interface between the sorters and the wider organisation, driving data-based improvements and standardising practices. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and coordinate cross-site initiatives to optimize material usability and quality. This is a hands-on leadership position in a luxury materials hub that values cross-country collaboration and data-driven decision making.

Responsabilità

- Lead and coach a 10-member team across Italy, Spain, and France
- Harmonize sorting practices and manage skills development
- Serve as single point of contact between sorters and other departments
- Streamline communication of technical information, alerts, and guidelines
- Analyze sorting data and quality indicators to identify trends
- Report KPIs and propose corrective actions based on data
- Drive continuous improvement and calibrations across countries




- Participate in projects for tool evolution and quality standards
- Support cross-site coordination with production, cutting, and tanneries

Requisiti fondamentali

- Higher education background with at least 5 years in material quality, leather sorting, or cutting
- Proven managerial experience leading multi-site or remote teams
- Extensive expertise in leather sorting for classic and exotic leathers
- Strong leadership, listening, communication, and team-building skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance indicator structuring
- Continuous improvement mindset with initiative-taking ability
- Pedagogical skills to transmit standards and manage change
- Proficiency in quality tools and tannery inspection methods
- Professional proficiency in Italian and French; Spanish is a plus
