About the Role
For our Plant in Sant'Angelo Dei Lombardi (AV), we are currently looking for a Quality Specialist .
By covering this role, you will be responsible for the correct application of the Product Food Safety&Quality; Specification on production lines, based on guidelines defined by the Food Safety and Quality Group (FSQ) and other external organizations, to ensure that all the manufactured products respect the standards for Quality and Food Safety.
You will contribute to generating ideas for continuous improvement and to implementing related actions, as well as supporting employee training, in order to ensure the achievement of quality objectives.
Main Responsibilities As Plant Quality Specialist , you will lead a shift-based team to ensure product compliance with Food Safety and Quality standards within the Production Unit, covering all stages from raw material reception through processing and finished product maturation.
Your scope will include (but will not be limited to) all Quality and Food Safety aspects defined in the Product Food Safety&Quality; Specification ,
including CCPs, oPRPs and CPs, as well as the prevention of microbiological and chemical-physical contamination, quality defects, and compliance with legal, packaging and organoleptic requirements.
Together with your team, you will oversee the execution of Food Safety and Quality self-checks within the Production Unit, ensure accurate recording of relevant data, and manage the issuance and updating of Food Safety & Quality control instructions.
You will coordinate the internal traceability team , ensuring robust and up-to-date capabilities to trace non-conforming products throughout the supply chain and back to the relevant raw materials and packaging.
The role also involves carrying out checks through extraordinary finished-goods sampling and periodic audits in accordance with Military Standards.
