The part youll play
For our headquarters based in Florence we are currently seeking a Demand Planner who will take responsibility for demand forecasting activities associated with Markets and Products, working within the Demand and Inventory Management team.
He/She will contribute to strengthening the collaboration among Planners, Sales, Merchandising, Marketing and other relevant functions, supporting an effective understanding of demand and helping to anticipate customer needs.
- Maintain and implement the demand forecasting process at multiple levels of aggregation and time horizon, for all our Markets and Products, leveraging the available forecasting tools.
- Analyse historical sales trends and demand patterns, interpreting sales performance and using these insights to assess the forecasts generated by the forecasting tool.
- Evaluate and validate forecast results,
applying business and product knowledge to interpret the future evolution of demand and adjust the forecast where necessary.
- Interpret information coming from Sales, Merchandising, Marketing and other relevant sources, using these inputs to validate and, where necessary, modify the forecast.
- Implement sales and stock analysis WW of the entire Collection.
- Identify KPIs to monitor business and forecasting performance.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics or Engineering and 2+ years of experience in Retail, Distribution or Demand Planning.
Advanced proficiency in Excel is a must, together with experience with Business Intelligence and/or forecasting tools.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, sales trends and forecast results.
Strong product sensitivity, with the ability to anticipate the future evolution of product demand.
Full proficiency in Italian and English.
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
What we’ll offer

• Gross annual salary: €28,000–33,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
