Senior Project Manager – Pharmaceutical Construction Location: Parma, Italy Job Type: Contract / Freelance Duration: 24 Months Overview We are working with a leading engineering contractor delivering a major pharmaceutical construction project in Parma. They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex pharmaceutical construction project from construction through to commissioning and handover.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-value capital project within a fast-paced, regulated environment. Responsibilities * Lead the successful delivery of a major pharmaceutical construction project * Manage multidisciplinary engineering, construction and commissioning teams * Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle * Ensure delivery against programme, budget and quality objectives * Monitor project progress and implement mitigation plans where required * Manage project risks,
change control and issue resolution * Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reporting to senior stakeholders * Ensure compliance with HSE, GMP and project governance requirements * Support commissioning, qualification and project handover activities * Foster strong relationships with the client and project delivery teams Requirements * Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on large-scale pharmaceutical xysqume or life sciences construction projects * At least one completed pharmaceutical construction project * Strong experience delivering projects within EPC/EPCM environments * Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams * Excellent stakeholder, client and contractor management skills * Strong understanding of construction, commissioning and project delivery within regulated environments
