As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will contribute to the development of our Hypercharger products by designing innovative and reliable mechanical solutions that meet performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost requirements. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for Hypercharger products * Create and maintain 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and related documentation * Perform mechanical calculations and support simulation activities to validate design solutions * Select appropriate materials based on functional, environmental, and cost requirements * Support concept development, prototyping, testing, and product validation activities * Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electronics, software, industrialization, and manufacturing * Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical problem-solving activities * Support products throughout the entire development lifecycle,
from concept to series production * Contribute to continuous product improvement and engineering best practices * Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers when required YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS * Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification * Several years of experience in mechanical product development, ideally within electromechanical products * Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, strength calculations, material selection, and manufacturing processes * Experience with CAD software; knowledge of SolidWorks is considered an advantage * Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills * Structured, proactive, results-oriented way of working and commitment to engineering excellence and high-quality standards * Excellent communication and collaboration skills as well as ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams * Fluent in English; German and/or Italian are a plus OUR COMMITMENT * Innovative work environment in a
