You will work closely with the Risk Engineering Team and cross-functional partners to manage portfolio performance and underwriting discipline. You will support product development and the acquisition/retention of business, including agent and broker negotiations. This position offers international collaboration and impactful risk management in a leading insurer.ResponsabilitàEnsure underwriters comply with authority, pricing and rating guidelinesSteer and control the local portfolio to achieve financial targetsReview end-to-end underwriting lifecycle performance with functional areasCollaborate with Sales, Risk Consulting, Claims,
and other lines to implement marketing strategies including cross-sellingMaintain underwriting consistency and adherence to corporate guidelines and local regulationsSupport development/implementation of new or modified productsContribute to new business acquisition and retention (agent/broker negotiations)Communicate local business strategy externallyRequisiti fondamentaliMaster's degree in Industrial, Civil, Construction or Mechanical Engineering8 to 15 years of experience in underwriting profitable Risk Engineering for corporate and construction risksProven leadership skillsExperience with risk assessment and policy administration lifecycleStrong pricing knowledge and market xysqume analysis skillsExperience in designing/implementing robust wordings and underwriting projects (preferred)Entrepreneurial mindsetStrong communication skillsAbility to work in an international organizationFluent in English and Italian (spoken and written)Data AnalyticsVery good knowledge of Office 365 and other collaborative toolsleadershipentrepreneurial mindsetstrong communicationrisk assessmentpricingunderwriting lifecycle
