Overview

In this role, you will design, deploy, and run the internal Linux-based platform that powers engineering and business teams, spanning on‑premise and cloud. You’ll own deployment, reliability, and automation for core IT services with a security‑first mindset, building a scalable foundation for the company. You will work as a technical SME with cross‑functional teams to deliver high availability and compliant infrastructure. The position offers exposure to infrastructure‑as‑code, automation, and enterprise storage at scale, in a remote-friendly environment.

Responsabilità

- Architect, deploy and support on‑premise and cloud Linux infrastructure and core IT services (virtualization, baremetal, storage, DNS) for high availability
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, Foreman/MaaS) for platform services
- Automate system security practices (patching, hardening, configuration management) to ensure compliance and resilience
- Build deployment pipelines for IT infrastructure (images, configuration, platform services) using GitHub/Git, Ansible,



and scripting
- Act as SME, collaborating with IT Systems, CloudOps, Security, and Engineering to design robust solutions
- Participate in on‑call rotation with documented runbooks
- Create and maintain documentation for automation, audits, and compliance
- Design and administer enterprise storage platforms (Dell PowerStore, Pure Storage) for performance, capacity and HA
- Mentor junior team members

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 8+ years of equivalent enterprise experience
- Deep Linux systems administration experience (Red Hat, Rocky, Ubuntu)
- Strong Python and shell scripting for automation
- Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, Ansible) and Git (GitHub/Git)
- Hybrid infrastructure experience (on‑prem virtualization/OpenStack, networking) and knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP and Kubernetes
- Hands‑on storage administration with Dell PowerStore and Pure Storage
- Security‑first mindset for automated infrastructure
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls)
