MICLA Engineering & Design is looking for a Wiring Harness System Engineer – Low Voltage (LV) to join our Engineering team and support international automotive projects.
The role
The candidate will contribute to the design, development, integration and validation of LV wiring harness systems, collaborating with Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Manufacturing and Quality teams.
Main responsibilities
- Develop LV wiring harness architectures and systems according to vehicle requirements.
- Manage electrical distribution, circuits, connections and component interfaces.
- Support wiring harness routing, topology and packaging activities.
- Analyse and solve electrical and functional issues during vehicle development.
- Support design reviews, validation, testing and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers and international engineering teams.
- Manage technical documentation, specifications, engineering changes and issues.
- Contribute to design optimization and continuous improvement activities.
Technical requirements
- Degree or technical qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Automotive Engineering.
- Previous experience in automotive wiring harness / electrical systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical schematics, connectors, terminals and wiring components.
- Familiarity with automotive development and industrialization processes.
- Knowledge of CATIA, NX, Capital, KBL, E3S or similar tools is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and synthesis skills.
- Collaborative team player who can also work autonomously and independently.
- Flexibility and availability to travel as required.
Languages
- Spanish: fluent/native.
- English: good working proficiency.
- Knowledge of Italian is considered a strong plus, particularly for projects involving Italian engineering teams.
