Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for a Project Controller & Expediter for a long-term project based at supplier in Avenza area. The professional will support the delivery of major rotating equipment packages within a long-term and complex project programme.
The role combines planning, schedule control, supplier expediting and package completeness activities to ensure equipment, Balance of Plant (BoP), ancillary materials and documentation are delivered on time and in line with project requirements. The successful candidate will monitor supplier progress, validate reported status and identify potential delays or delivery risks. Responsibilities : Develop, maintain and review detailed schedules for assigned equipment packages, ensuring alignment with the overall project master schedule.
Review and challenge supplier baseline schedules, progress updates, milestone forecasts, schedule logic, critical paths and recovery plans,
assessing whether proposed mitigation or acceleration measures are realistic and effective. Verify supplier-reported progress using objective evidence, cross-checking supplier information against project schedules, procurement, quality and logistics data. Identify schedule inconsistencies, emerging risks, critical constraints and unsupported supplier forecasts, escalating issues when required.
Monitor engineering, procurement, manufacturing progress, inspection, FAT and delivery activities, coordinating with Engineering, Quality, Document Control and Logistics to maintain an integrated package forecast. Lead or support supplier progress and expediting meetings, tracking commitments through to closure. Monitor package completeness, equipment, Balance of Plant (BoP) items, ancillary materials and documentation, ensuring shipping and packing lists are accurate before release and proactively addressing missing materials or supply gaps.
