PositionAs part of the optimization of our raw material supply chain and the strict quality standards that characterize our products, we are seeking a Leather Sorter Coordinator.Reporting to the Quality Manager of the Italy Materials Hub, you will manage and lead a team of 10 leather sorters spread across multiple locations (6 in Italy, 2 in Spain, and 2 in France). Acting as a true operational and managerial pivot, you are the primary point of contact between your team and the wider company. You will drive activity through data and instill a constant continuous improvement approach to guarantee the consistency and excellence of sorting practices (for both classic and exotic leathers).Job ResponsabilitiesManagement and Leadership of the Team (10 team members)Lead, coach, and unite the team of quality referent based across sites in Italy, Spain, and France.Facilitate management routines, monitor skills, support skills development, and harmonize international sorting practices (classic and exotic leathers).Central Point of Contact (Company Interface)Act as a facilitator and single point of contact between the sorters and the company's other departments (Materials Hub, Leather Division, production sites, cutting workshops, tanneries).Streamline the communication of technical information, material alerts, and inspection guidelines across the various sites and internal/external stakeholders.Data Analysis and Performance ManagementExploit and analyze sorting data, quality indicators, selection rates,
and workshop operating feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.Report KPIs to stakeholders and propose corrective action plans based on measurable facts.Driving a Constant Continuous Improvement ApproachDrive and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team to continually optimize control, sorting, and material usability methods.Implement regular calibration campaigns and share best practices across different countries.Participate in projects related to the evolution of tools and quality standardsProfileEducation and Experience
Higher education background, with solid experience (minimum 5 years) in material quality, leather sorting, or cutting, ideally within the luxury sector.
Successful managerial experience in leading multi-site or remote teams is essential.
Proven expertise in leather (classic and exotic leathers) is a strong prerequisite.
Professional Skills and Abilities

Recognized pedagogical skills, ability to transmit demanding standards, lead team routines, and manage change.
Proficiency in quality tools and tannery inspection methods.
Languages
Professional proficiency in Italian and French (required for multi-country coordination). Proficiency in Spanish is considered a valuable additional asset.
Additional InformationFor this position employment is expected at Level 5 of the Pelli e Succedanei Industria CCNL.
