Overview
In this role you drive the end-to-end development and industrialization of injection-molded Sun Lens products. You collaborate across Engineering, Production, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Logistics and Product teams to move concepts from feasibility to production readiness and market introduction. You will lead cross-functional programs, ensure on-time product releases, and support customers and Key Account Managers during launches. You will apply structured development methods to optimize materials, molds and processes, contributing to ZEISS’s innovation in optics.

Responsabilità
- Manage end-to-end New Product Development for thermoplastic injection molding projects
- Drive development cycles for thermoplastic materials (e.g., Polycarbonate, Polyamide) and assess suitability for new products
- Define testing, qualification, validation and industrialization plans with Engineering, Quality and Regulatory Affairs
- Lead cross-functional coordination to meet development schedules and release deadlines
- Drive production readiness for new launches and support Time-to-Market targets with KAMs and customers
- Lead product testing activities with Product Team and establish product specifications with Quality
- Investigate non-conformities and development failures using Six Sigma, DOE and Minitab as appropriate
- Track development progress in internal systems and portals (e.g., NPR portal, Friday)
Requisiti fondamentali
- University degree in a scientific or technical discipline
- 2–3 years of experience in an injection molding environment
- Solid knowledge of thermoplastic materials and injection molding processes
- Strong project management skills with stakeholder coordination
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and task management abilities
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in Italian and English
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
