Business Development – M&A Manager

- Build and maintain relationships with developers, investors, advisors, and other key market participants
- Screen and evaluate renewable energy projects from commercial, financial, and strategic perspectives
- Manage M&A; processes in Italy from opportunity or partner identification and valuation through due diligence, negotiation, and closing
- Coordinate technical, legal, financial, and commercial due diligence with internal teams
- Manage commercial negotiations with project developers, partners, and other counterparties
- Monitor the Italian renewable energy market, including regulatory developments, market trends, and competitive dynamics
- Collaborate with Hungarian and Spanish teams, sharing market insights, expertise, and best practices
- Represent the company in meetings with external stakeholders and develop its position and network in the Italian market
- Participate in other business initiatives, projects, and ad-hoc tasks supporting company growth in Italy
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&A; or business development in the renewable energy sector in a similar role
- Good understanding of the Italian renewable energy project development landscape
- Proven experience evaluating investment opportunities, business cases, and renewable energy projects
- Experience with M&A; transactions, project acquisitions, partnerships,
or similar strategic transactions
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with financial modelling and project valuation is a strong advantage
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- A strong network within the Italian renewable energy market is a plus
- Fluency in Italian and English
- A relevant university degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- English CV required
