Overview
As Mechatronic Engineer, you will drive mechanical design and development of brushless blowers and hybrid steppers, from concept to pilot. You will collaborate with electrical, lab, and sampling teams to create motors for high-volume production, while sustaining legacy products. You’ll manage BOMs, support testing, and tailor software and hardware to customer needs. This role offers exposure to cross‑functional projects across multiple sites and a chance to apply AI tools to boost productivity and quality.
Responsabilità
- Design and develop new products using 3D CAD based on specs (design, reliability, cost)
- Customize existing products per customer requirements and specifications
- Sustain legacy products with design changes for cost reduction and process optimization
- Manage parts lists and BOMs using Windchill and SAP
- Support lab testing and sample construction
- Customize, parametrize, and tune software for customer requirements, including proof of concept and system validation
- Contribute to defining qualification test plans for Brushless Blowers and Steppers (controller, motor, air management)
- Coordinate with teams at Serbia and Czech Republic plants
- Support manufacturing for check samples construction and pilot run production
Requisiti fondamentali
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design and development of electric motors or comparable electromechanical products for high-volume production using 3D CAD tools
- Familiarity with mass-production manufacturing processes with focus on cost optimization and design-to-cost principles
- Understanding of aerodynamics and fluid dynamics basics
- Basic electronic knowhow applied to drivers for brushless motors and steppers
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and professional communication
- Analytical skills for design optimization and troubleshooting
- Willingness and ability to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and cost reduction, with ability to evaluate AI outputs critically
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-project environment
- Good knowledge of English and Italian languages
