Further information is available on the Company’s websiteLa preghiamo di leggere attentamente le informazioni contenute in questo annuncio di lavoro per comprendere esattamente cosa ci si aspetta dai potenziali candidati.PRIMARY FUNCTIONThe Body Builder Purchasing Commodity Buyer is responsible of equipment’s purchasing for vehicles, applying the purchasing strategy and regarding the perimeter management of suppliers.Key Responsibilities include:For the assigned commodity, in cooperation with Italy and Ame Sales departments, implements the supply base management strategies that lead to lowest total cost in terms of quality, lead time and unit cost.Selects suppliers using the Iveco Sourcing procedure,
negotiate Long Term and Supply Contracts where applicable, and maintain performance to expectations through negotiation of prices and terms to achieve best overall purchase decision.Purchase Orders managementKeeps abreast of market conditions, competitor benchmarking, new technical solutions, and techniques of manufacture for assigned commodities by maintaining close contacts with suppliers.Reinforce and develop partnership with Body Builders currently working for IvecoSupport the tender participation working with Sales department and Commercial Logistic department to solve suppliers’ issues.Availability to arrange visit to the suppliers’ facility.EDUCATION & SKILLSDegree in Engineering – EconomicsPrevious job experience in the specific role (preferential requirement) or in a technical roleFlexibility and team-working orientedExcellent communication skillsEnglish proficiencySense of responsibilityStrongly self-motivated, determined, proactive, result driven.Ability to learn and to work under pressure. xysqume Sense of initiativeRelevant product/commodity knowledge (Metallic and Mechanical assembled components, Plastics, Hydraulic and Electrical components,)Excellent knowledge of the European supplier’s market for the relevant products.SALARY INFORMATION:Applied Contract: CCSL Contratto Collettivo Specifico di Lavoro Iveco GroupGrade: 2° Gruppo ProfessionaleSalary range: Euro 40.000 – 47.000Variable payment as per CCSL Contratto Collettivo Specifico di Lavoro Iveco GroupLOCATIONTurin, Italy
