Job Description
As a Quote & Tender Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial success of our business by managing tender activities, coordinating quotation processes, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and compliant commercial offers.
Your role
- Proactively monitor CRM leads and opportunities, using data analytics to ensure timely quotation requests and avoid duplications.
- Analyze tender requirements, terms and conditions, and prepare pre-bid documentation and presentations.
- Ensure all required approvals are obtained in line with the Delegation Matrix and compliance requirements.
- Develop accurate and competitive quotations by calculating costs, pricing, and commercial conditions.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to support pricing strategies and commercial decision-making.
- Manage the creation and maintenance of quotations in ERP systems, SAP, and Excel, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Convert quotation outputs into customer-facing commercial offers that meet internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate customer offers in both electronic and paper formats, aligning any non-standard conditions with relevant stakeholders.
- Support the continuous improvement of tendering and quotation processes through data analysis, best-practice sharing, and process optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of business cases for complex commercial proposals, such as service contracts and extended warranty offerings.
- Prepare quarterly tender performance reports, analyzing tender outcomes, win rates, non-participation reasons, partner involvement, risks, and recommendations for management.
You are the right fit if you have
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in tender management,
contract administration, sales operations, commercial support, bid management, or a similar role requiring a high level of accuracy and coordination.
- Proven experience working with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP or comparable platforms) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and commercial offer preparation.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and a structured approach to managing complex information and large datasets.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
- Fluency in Italian and a strong command of English, enabling you to work effectively in cross-functional environment.
Compensation & benefits
Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is € 31.500 – € 48.893. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.
