The first assignment will involve the development of a new customer-facing product, working alongside engineers who care deeply about software quality, automation, observability, and secure-by-design architectures. /p pWe don't expect candidates to arrive with deep Rust expertise. Strong backend fundamentals, familiarity with distributed systems concepts, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to learn are more important to us. /p h3What You'll Do /h3 ulliDesign and develop backend services in Rust /liliBuild distributed and asynchronous systems /liliContribute to architecture and technical decision-making /liliImprove system reliability, observability, security, and automation /liliWork primarily on long-term products rather than short-lived implementations /li /ul h3What We're Looking For /h3 ulli2+ years of professional experience developing backend applications /liliFamiliarity with the challenges of distributed and asynchronous systems, including concepts such as eventual consistency, idempotency, and event-driven architectures /liliProficiency with Git workflows /liliFamiliarity with Linux and containerized environments /liliAble to comfortably read and write technical documentation, design documents, and engineering discussions in English /liliStrong engineering judgment to ensure correctness, security, performance, and maintainability /liliComfortable using AI-assisted development tools to increase effectiveness while maintaining critical thinking, code ownership, and engineering rigor /liliCuriosity, pragmatism,
