Resina Partners is supporting aninternational engineering polymer distributorin the search for aBusiness Development Managerto leadhealthcareactivities acrossItaly, Iberia, Benelux and Turkey.

A well-established international distributor of engineering plastics and specialty compounds, working with leading global producers and serving the medical, automotive, electrical and industrial markets across Europe.
Healthcare is a strategic growth segment for the group, supported by a dedicated European team and a portfolio ofmedical-grade materials.
The role:
Your core market isItaly, where the customer relationships already exist and need cultivating rather than building from scratch.
Alongside that, you will open and develop business acrossIberia, Benelux and Turkey.
You will report locally within the Italian organisation and functionally into the European healthcare team.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and grow the established Italian healthcare customer base
Identify and develop new business atmedical OEMs and brandsin Iberia, Benelux and Turkey
Build relationships with the decision-makers who drive material specification
Develop segment plans and track specification targets and pipeline growth
Monitor market trends, unmet needs and regulatory developments across the assigned regions
Manage leads, opportunities and projects in CRM through to handover to sales
Represent the company at fairs,
conferences and customer presentations
Provide healthcare expertise internally: sales training, case studies, product launches
Requirements:
Solid experience in the medical / healthcare value chain
Knowledge of medical-grade plastics, certifications and regulatory compliance
Fluent Italian and English
Based in Italy, with willingness to travel approximately 40%
Hunter mindset: comfortable with cold outreach and discovery, not only with an existing portfolio
Preferred backgrounds:
Business development, sales or marketing atdistributors, compounders or producers serving medical
Technical or product managers atmedical device manufacturers, ready to move into a commercial role
