Overview

In this role you will support the Head of Financial Sales & Inventory Planning by monitoring inventory-driven profitability. You will act as the finance reference for gross margin analysis across channels and products, helping to forecast and explain margin dynamics. You will ensure data accuracy through inventory count governance and data audits, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on reduction initiatives. This is an opportunity to influence pricing, stock management and financial reporting in a globally recognized luxury house.

Responsabilità

- Reconcile and analyze gross margins across channels, products and categories (forecasted and actual)
- Support preventive margin analyses with Pricing
- Prepare budget and forecast projections for gross margin performance
- Perform monthly actual analyses including mix, price-cost and volume variances
- Govern and audit the systems used by the Financial Sales & Inventory Planning team
- Oversee inventory count processes and monitor execution
- Analyze stock adjustments and their financial impact




- Conduct risk analyses on inventory discrepancies and shrinkage
- Monitor store-to-store transfer performance and related costs/benefits
- Monitor stock damage volumes (including second-quality products) and coordinate follow-up actions
- Coordinate and monitor global and regional inventory reduction initiatives

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A;, Inventory Finance or similar roles
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
- Understanding of gross margin dynamics and financial performance indicators
- Experience in reporting, reconciliations and data analysis
- Knowledge of inventory accounting principles and inventory-related processes
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Good stakeholder coordination and communication skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
