BBE team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering, and Program/Project Management Services to the Federal and private sectors. /p h3Position Summary /h3 pBBE is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented bSystem Administrator / Inside Plant (ISP) Technician /b to provide operations and maintenance (OM) support for telecommunications systems at for NAVSUP in Naples, Italy. /p pThis position ensures reliable and secure performance of Inside Plant infrastructure, VoIP systems, and related communications equipment to support mission-critical operations. /p h3Job Duties Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide Inside Plant (ISP) operations and maintenance (OM) for installed telephone systems, VoIP systems, and associated ancillary equipment at NCTS Naples. /li liOperate and maintain the telephone maintenance console and Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM) to install, relocate, and troubleshoot telephone extensions, perform programming changes, adjust class of service, activate/deactivate special features, and manage VoIP network administration. /li liTroubleshoot and restore telephone services, systems, and equipment outages, including coordination with commercial providers, Tier III support, and the BCO help desk. /li liPerform all patch panel terminations for installation, relocation, or removal of telephone services or communication circuits, ensuring proper labeling and accurate recordkeeping. /li liMaintain telephone terminations, switch patch panels, and cable records; submit accurate monthly Planned Maintenance System (PMS) reports. /li liRespond to incidents, requests, and critical incidents within required timelines, maintaining an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) of 90% or higher. /li liRespond to alarms (e.g., Gateway, UPS/Generator) and system outages by investigating, isolating, and resolving faults; be available for recall after hours when required. /li liConduct preventive maintenance in accordance with OEM standards and safety requirements,
leaving communication spaces clean and organized. /li liParticipate in joint tool and supply inventories; maintain accountability for all government-provided tools and equipment. /li liEnsure all maintenance and repairs restore systems to original equipment performance, operability, reliability, and accuracy, adhering to professional and safety standards. /li /ul ul liMinimum five (5) years of experience in the operation and maintenance of tactical or commercial telecommunications equipment. /li li3–5 years of experience in VoIP network administration, systems programming, routing, and IT/teleconferencing deployments. /li liSecurity+ and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Voice certification (or equivalent experience). /li liFamiliarity with DoD cyberspace workforce requirements and best practices. /li liExperience with Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM) systems. /li liProficiency in PC operations at the operator level. /li liMust be able to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances and government access credentials /li /ul h3bPhysical Requirements and Work Environment /b /h3 pThe physical demands and work environment may vary based on the position, assigned duties, and work location.
