We are actually looking for a Country Sales Manager - DACH
Responsibilities:
The person, reporting directly to the CEO, will drive commercial development across the DACH region—Germany, German-speaking Switzerland and Austria. In particular:
- Develop business opportunities within the DACH region with a strong focus on Noth/Central Germany.
- Lead business development activities across both contract and retail channels in line with the company’s commercial strategy. Build and maintain long-term relationships with architecture firms, interior designers, general contractors, and key specifiers.
- Select, manage, and support local agents and dealers, ensuring consistent brand positioning.
- Identification of business opportunities and development of new market prospects in the lighting segment in order to increase the performance of the assigned areas, in line with the objectives shared with the management.
- Monitoring and reporting on sales performance and sharing results and commercial trends with the management, so as to follow the commercial strategy designed ad hoc and collect feedback from the market in order to maintain a high-quality standard.
- Participate in trade fairs, events,
and brand-promotion activities within the assigned area.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven sales experience in the lighting industry (mandatory) or high-end design furniture.
- Strong knowledge of the DACH/German market.
- Experience working with dealers, agents and architects.
- Goal-oriented mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and autonomy in managing the territory.
- Fluency in German and English; Italian is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned region.
- Results orientation and ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, with a strong propensity for commercial development.
