Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing wiring harnesses and specifying electrical components for mobile agricultural machinery.
- Primary focus will be on Gold Harvest combines NA, however, other global support on similar products may occur.
- Key types of tasks will be related to the circuit definition and routing of harnessing on harvesting equipment.
- This type of design is primarily related to a 12/24-volt system.
- This will require the ability to understand, read, and create wiring diagrams.
- In addition, this will also include the need to specify electrical components such as relays, fuses, speed sensors, and pressure transducers.
- As harnessing routing is a key component of the overall design process, with CAD modeling tools, either 3D or 2D is required.
- Your Impact Circuit Design of harnessing including schematics 3D and/or 2D CAD for routing of harnesses within a virtual model Vendor support for the procurement of engineering related samples, including technical specification for new devices Manufacturing support of issues related to the various product lines, as it relates to engineering design issues Design reviews and routine project updates.
Qualifications
- Ability to specify electrical components for mobile machinery, such as relays, fuses, speed sensors, and pressure transducers.
- Experience with electrical circuit layout tools is preferred.
- Proficient in written and oral communication in English.
- Team is located across 3 sites located in NA, SA, and EME.
- Availability to travel for about 20% of working time.
