You will work within a global IT team to install, configure, and upgrade database and application services, ensuring reliability and performance for customer systems. You'll handle data migrations, backups, and 24x7 standby support, collaborating across departments to deliver robust data infrastructure. Responsabilità
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot databases on Unix/Linux and Windows platforms
- Install and configure application servers (WebLogic, WildFly)
- Apply system upgrades/patches on customer environments (remote or onsite)
- Configure and ensure high availability (Data Guard) for database systems
- Perform data migrations between DB versions
- Develop and enhance backup and restore strategies
- Document changes in change log and asset management database
- Provide standby 24x7 support and perform proactive problem analysis
- Conduct regular database health checks and generate improvement recommendations
- Adhere to Swisslog processes and standards
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years as Database Administrator
- Experience with Oracle DB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL xjncmbx
- Scripting expertise (SQL, Shell, PL/SQL)
- Experience with application servers WebLogic, WildFly, JBoss
- Proficient English (written and spoken)
- Strong collaboration across teams and departments
