FP&A Analyst

We are seeking a talented FP&A; Analyst to join our Finance team in Rome. In this role, you will support the planning, forecasting, and reporting activities of the business, providing insightful analysis and contributing to strategic decision-making through accurate financial information and performance monitoring.

Activities & Responsibilities

- Supporting monthly variance analysis and preparation of accruals and journal entries in collaboration with Shared Finance teams
- Consolidating and analyzing data from multiple sources to identify trends across KPIs, budgets, and forecasts
- Supporting the FP&A; Manager in performance analysis and developing recommendations for Finance Business Partners and leadership teams
- Enhancing data governance by improving the quality, consistency, and integrity of financial reporting and analysis
- Running simulations and "what-if" scenarios to evaluate business opportunities and support decision-making
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of forecasting models
- Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes through the provision of timely and accurate information
- Preparing Forecast and Budget reports for leadership teams
- Producing routine and ad-hoc financial models to support business decisions
- Promoting the sharing of best practices across Finance teams
- Supporting automation initiatives and continuous improvement of systems, processes, and reporting tools
- Assisting with SOX controls, compliance activities, and audit requests
Qualifications
We are looking for someone analytical, curious,
and business-oriented, with a strong desire to learn and develop within a Finance environment.
What you will need:

- Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in Finance, FP&A;, Controlling, or related analytical roles
- Experience working with SAP and financial reporting systems
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong business understanding and strategic thinking capabilitiesFluent Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Creative, innovative, and curious mindset with an eagerness to challenge existing processes and drive improvements
