Overview
As an R&D Microwave Test & Integration Junior Engineer at Nokia, you contribute to test and validation of next-generation microwave equipment. You will learn how modern telecom systems are designed, integrated, tested, and automated, building expertise in networking, RF concepts, Python, and AI-driven testing. You will perform requirements-driven test design, execute manual and automated validation, and analyze outcomes in a multidisciplinary, Agile environment. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve verification, quality, and efficiency in a dynamic international R&D setting.

Responsabilità
- Review system/subsystem requirements to define test strategy (functional, integration, regression, reliability)
- Derive, specify, and maintain structured test cases with traceability to requirements
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for automated test execution, data collection, and reporting within the automation framework
- Integrate AI-assisted methods to accelerate test generation and improve coverage and reuse
- Execute test campaigns, analyze logs/results,
and perform root-cause analysis on failures
- Collaborate with Test, SW/FW developers, and system architects to align verification with development
- Support cross-functional development cycles involving hardware, firmware, software, and architects’ engineers
Requisiti fondamentali
- Hands-on experience in test engineering, integration, or validation of electronic/telecom systems
- Programming in Python for test automation (script design, modularity, debugging, framework integration)
- Ability to perform requirements analysis and test design methodologies
- Experience with test result interpretation, defect isolation, and structured troubleshooting
- Ability to work in cross-functional development cycles (hardware, firmware, software)
- Experience in using AI tools for engineering productivity or test generation
- Experience with Linux
- Knowledge of REST APIs and API testing (HTTP methods, status, authentication, JSON, Postman or curl)
- Good communication skills in English
