Overview
As Site Manager, you will lead on-site execution from mobilization to handover for complex energy and infrastructure projects. You will act as Hitachi Energy’s senior on-site representative, coordinating construction, installation, testing, and commissioning while ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality. You’ll collaborate with project teams, customers, and suppliers to meet contractual commitments and drive successful project delivery. The role offers impact across Europe, within a collaborative, growth-focused global organisation.

Responsabilità
- Lead site activities from mobilization through commissioning and handover
- Foster a strong safety culture aligning with standards and regulations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Plan, organize and monitor site activities to meet schedules and milestones
- Serve as primary on-site contact for customers, authorities and stakeholders
- Ensure works comply with specifications, quality requirements and contracts
- Identify risks and implement mitigation and recovery plans
- Manage site logistics, materials and resources
- Support cost control,
change management and commercial performance
- Lead, coach and develop site personnel for collaboration and improvement
Requisiti fondamentali
- A Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Significant site-based construction, installation, commissioning or project execution experience
- Proven success leading complex industrial, infrastructure, energy or EPC projects
- Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, customers and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of construction, installation, testing and commissioning processes
- Understanding of project scheduling, risk management and cost control principles
- Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental excellence
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Experience in Power Transmission & Distribution, Renewable Energy, Data Centres, or related sectors (desirable)
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent
- Fluency in English and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
