Senior IT Project Financial Controller

Overview

In this role, you will support the Group IT projects and software factories by managing project finances within the Group CFO’s Shared Services. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for a key finance transformation initiative. You will oversee procurement-to-pay and project accounting, including revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion where applicable. Your work will help ensure financial controls, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of project objectives. This is an opportunity to shape the financial stewardship of strategic IT investments within a large group.

Responsabilità

- Managing the budget of a major Group finance transformation project
- Overseeing procurement-to-pay processes from requirements through supplier invoicing
- Ensuring accurate project-based revenue accounting and percentage-of-completion where applicable




- Leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and periodic reporting for Group IT projects
- Providing methodological oversight on accounting principles and compliance for project teams

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Finance, Business, or Engineering
- 8-10 years of professional experience in Finance with IT project management and project financial planning
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling)
- Fluency in Italian and English

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong work organization and time management
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to deliver according to deadlines
