Overview

In this role you drive the Application Management Framework for the High Voltage Business Unit, ensuring consistent governance and alignment with Hitachi Energy standards. You will shape standards, processes, and governance documentation, and empower Application Managers through training and guidance. You’ll improve governance, CMDB data quality, and handover readiness to service providers, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to raise maturity. This is a chance to influence how applications are managed at scale within a global technology leader.

Responsabilità

- Define and continuously improve the Application Management Framework across the Business Unit
- Develop governance standards, templates, and documentation aligned with Hitachi Energy policies
- Provide training and onboarding support to Application Managers
- Improve governance quality, ownership, and CMDB data accuracy




- Define criteria for transitioning applications to external Service Management providers and oversee handover
- Identify simplifications and standardization opportunities in Application Management processes
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Compliance Management, Application Managers, and support teams to raise maturity across the unit

Requisiti fondamentali

- 5-8 years of IT experience in a global organization
- Strong expertise in Application Management, IT Governance, ITSM
- Experience with ServiceNow and CMDB management
- Proven ability to develop governance frameworks and operational documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
- Excellent prioritization, multitasking, and stakeholder management
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills in English
