pStructural Analysis Engineer | Space /ppbr / /ppMy client is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer with experience in the space or aerospace sector to support the development, qualification and delivery of radar payload structures. This role will focus on finite element analysis, structural performance and environmental qualification within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. /ppbr / /ppKey Responsibilities /pulliPerform and interpret finite element analyses of radar payload structures, including static, dynamic, buckling and fatigue analysis, where applicable. /liliUse analysis results to support design decisions and qualification activities. /liliSupport environmental qualification campaigns, including vibration and shock testing, through test specification development and post-test correlation. /liliDevelop, validate and correlate finite element models against test results. /liliCollaborate with integration, electronics,
thermal and systems engineering teams to ensure structural requirements are addressed from the early design stages. /liliCommunicate technical findings through clear presentations, engineering reports and qualification documentation. /li /ulpbr / /ppEssential Skills and Qualifications /pulliStrong knowledge of structural mechanics and finite element methods. /liliProven experience in structural analysis and the use of FEA tools such as Femap with Nastran, ANSYS, Abaqus or equivalent. /liliExperience developing, validating and correlating FEM models with test results. /liliPrevious experience supporting vibration and environmental test campaigns. /liliGood knowledge of metallic structures, with a basic understanding of composite materials. /liliExperience in the space sector or aerospace programmes /liliGood written and spoken English. /li /ulpbr / /ppApply today or contact Gemma for more information! /ppbr / /p
