ppHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated bSenior OT Cybersecurity Infrastructure Architect Engineer. /b /p pThe successful candidate will have solid experience in the rail industry, managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms. This position is based in Naples, Italy. /p h3Mission /h3 pDesign, implement, integrate, and validate a bcomplete OT Cybersecurity Infrastructure /b for railway and critical‑infrastructure projects. /p pThe role combines bsecurity architecture ownership /b with bhands /b‑bon engineering and implementation responsibility /b, ensuring that Cybersecurity platforms and controls are deployed according to international standards, project requirements, and local regulatory frameworks. /p pThe OT Cybersecurity Infrastructure Architect Engineer acts as the btechnical authority for security platforms /b, from core IT/OT infrastructure to SOC‑enabling technologies, supporting the full lifecycle from design through commissioning and operational handover. /p h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liDefines reference architectures, platform designs, and integration patterns /li liPersonally implements, configures, and validates security platforms /li liDeep understanding of operational constraints, availability, safety, and lifecycle issues /li liCapable of designing secure solutions independently of specific vendors, while integrating commercial products effectively Design end‑to‑end OT cybersecurity infrastructure architectures aligned with IEC 62443 and TS 50701 principles /li liDefine technical standards, reference architectures, and design patterns for OT cybersecurity platforms. /li liEnsure architectural consistency across multiple projects and geographic regions. /li liActively design, deploy, configure,
and validate the following OT Cybersecurity Infrastructure components /li liFunctional tests for security controls /li liIntegration testing with OT subsystems /li liSupport vulnerability assessments, configuration reviews, and remediation activities. /li liProvide technical input to Security Case and assurance documentation /li /ul h3Required Skills/Knowledge /h3 ul li5 to 10 years of professional experience in IT/OT Cybersecurity infrastructure, with demonstrated responsibility for architecture and deployment. /li liProven experience delivering cybersecurity infrastructures /li liCLC/TS 50701 /li liISO 27001 / 27005 /li liOT network design and segmentation /li liFirewalls, WAF, Proxies /li liIAM / PAM / MFA /li liNIDS EDR /li liSIEM architecture and integration /li liBackup Cyber Recovery /li /ul h3Highly Preferred Skills Knowledge /h3 ul liRailway or transportation OT environments /li liSOC architecture and OT SOC onboarding /li liZero‑Trust adaptation for OT /li liExperience delivering multi‑country programmes /li liDeep understanding of OT and IT network architectures. /li liStrong practical experience with: /li liFirewalls, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs /li liIdentity systems and access control models /li liLinux and Windows server administration /li liVirtualization platforms and data‑center design /li liAbility to troubleshoot complex, multi‑vendor environments. /li liStrong documentation and architectural reasoning skills /li liStandards Compliance Security Assurance /li /ul h3Education/Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Automation Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical disciplines. /li liMaster’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or Systems Engineering is preferred. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
