As Area Sales Manager for Italy, you lead and develop a team of Key Account Managers to drive commercial performance across territories. You translate brand strategy into field execution and align with Medical, Marketing, and Country Leadership to ensure cross-functional coherence. You manage planning, forecasting, and KPI tracking while driving customer engagement and market positioning. Responsabilità
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Key Account Managers
- Drive performance management, talent development, and succession planning
- Conduct regular performance reviews with the Commercial Lead
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous development
- Achieve sales, volume, and market share targets
- Implement and monitor territory and account planning processes
- Track performance against KPIs and targets; ensure accurate forecasting with Commercial Lead
- Translate brand strategy into field execution; align with Medical, Marketing, and Country Leadership
- Provide market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence
- Ensure effective use of CRM systems to drive data quality and forecasting accuracy
- Monitor performance metrics and reporting to leadership
- Support incentive compensation plan implementation and field metrics
- Drive high-quality HCP engagement through account planning and tailored value propositions
- Strengthen customer relationships and market positioning
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and ethical standards
- Promote pharmacovigilance and promotional compliance
Requisiti fondamentali
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales with leadership experience
- Strong track record of delivering commercial results
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Veeva) and MS Office
- Willingness to travel extensively within Italy
