NETWORK SYSTEMS ENGINEER
We are looking for a mid- to senior-level Network Engineer for a consulting opportunity with a prestigious enterprise-level client.
The person will be required to visit the office in the province of Modena once a week.
Requirements
- Possession of Cisco Certifications : CCNA R&S; (Routing & Switching) and/or CCDA
- Expertise in firewalls such as: Cisco ASA, CheckPoint, Sophos, PFsense
- Advanced expertise in routing
- Switch Expertise : Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, HPE, Aruba
- Knowledge of protocols: Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP
- Knowledge of the following technologies: Spanning Tree, EtherChannel, Trunks, VLANs, Access Lists, Port Security, Stacking
- Knowledge of Wireshark
- Expertise in monitoring network efficiency
- Proven expertise in the installation and maintenance of LANs, WANs, and network segmentation
- Wireless Expertise : Aruba and/or Cambium Networks
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in Wi-Fi networks
- Ability to generate reports on the status of the service
Preference will also be given to:
- Previous experience using Cisco ISE
- Knowledge of monitoring software: PRTG Network Monitor and/or ELK Stack
- Previous experience using ticketing portals
