Overview In this role, you design and build the backend services powering Expedia Group’s Landing Platform at large scale. You will enable fast, reliable landing experiences across brands and surfaces, contributing to SEO visibility and traffic growth. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into reusable components, and explore AI-driven search integrations.

Responsabilità
- Design, develop, and maintain services and APIs for the Landing Platform across brands
- Implement low-level designs, including API contracts and data models, aligned with architecture guidelines
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into reusable solutions
- Own end-to-end quality and operations of services: testing, monitoring, incident response, and reliability improvements
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation,
and driving engineering practices on the Landing Platform
- Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to enhance landing experiences
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years in software development, building and operating backend services or APIs
- Experience designing API and data models for multi-feature services
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and related frameworks;
experience with unit/integration testing and CI/CD tooling
- Experience owning a service lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Interest in using AI-powered tools responsibly to accelerate learning and delivery, with emphasis on validation and testing
- Collaborative cross-functional teamwork
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
