In this Senior Signalling System Engineer role you will lead end-to-end ERTMS delivery and act as the final technical sign-off for subsystem design and integration. You will plan and manage signaling projects, including milestones, budget, and resources, while guiding system verification, validation, and deployment across ERTMS Level 2/3, GSM-R, ATP, and CBTC. You will collaborate with contractors, authorities, and internal teams to ensure compliance with CENELEC standards and project requirements.

- Lead end-to-end ERTMS delivery including final technical sign-off for specifications, design, and integration
- Define and manage signaling project milestones, budgets, and resources (QCD)
- Oversee V&V; activities and commissioning for ERTMS Level 2/3, GSM-R, ATP, CBTC
- Coordinate with contractors, authorities, and internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop and adapt technical solutions with RAMS and requirement analysis
- Manage System and Signalling System Requirements and their allocation across subsystems
- Define and manage all subsystems interfaces and coordinate technical resolutions
- Define Signalling system design documentation, architecture, and verification activities
- Perform Gap Analysis versus standard solutions and manage software deliveries on site and in lab
- Execute on-site Signalling System tests and participate in Factory Acceptance testing
- Serve as project team contact point for signalling and support final approvals with authorities
- Support Commissioning Manager and Project Engineer for system final approval
- Support closure activities until final approval and assist in commissioning
- Proven experience in CBTC or ERTMS/ETCS and knowledge of trackside/onboard equipment
- Deep understanding of railway signaling principles and CENELEC standards
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in technical disciplines
- Strong ability to manage interfaces and requirements across subsystems
- Experience in RAMS and safety/regulatory considerations
