Freelance opportunity to join a global technology organisation delivering SAP transformation programmes for large enterprise clients. Functional role, full remote, in direct contact with the business. ?
? The challenge
Large enterprises do not just need FI configured, they need someone who can sit with finance teams, translate how they actually close the books into a working Financial Accounting design, and stay with them through UAT, go-live and the weeks after. That is the role: full ownership of the FI area and all of its submodules, end to end.
?️ Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis and workshops with the business teams of large enterprise clients
- Implementation of the SAP FI area and all submodules: GL, AP, AR, AA
- Manage integration points with CO, MM and SD
- UAT support, go-live and post go-live stabilisation
- Possible coordination of nearshore resources
✅ Requirements
- 8 to 10+ years as a functional SAP FI consultant
- Deep command of FI submodules: GL, AP, AR, AA
- Working knowledge of FI integrations with CO, MM and SD
- Italian C1 (solid B2 considered) and English C1
- Strong communication with business stakeholders and high autonomy
? Nice to have
- Technical debugging in ABAP (no development profile required)
- Comfort using AI-based features in day to day delivery
