Principal Channel Account Manager

In this role you drive digital transformation sales for manufacturing customers, translating PTC's portfolio into measurable business value. You will engage cross-functionally with partners and internal teams to open new opportunities and close complex deals. You'll build executive relationships and expand existing engagements across discrete and process manufacturing segments. This is an opportunity to shape how manufacturers embrace Industry 4.0 with Windchill, Creo, Codebeamer and Servicemax.
Drive end-to-end sales cycle from opportunity identification to closing deals
Build and nurture executive/SVP relationships for long-term partnerships
Expand current engagements and win new business within assigned accounts
Analyze client internal processes to tailor PTC solutions
Engage with partner ecosystem (Resellers and System Integrators)
Conduct customer-site sales calls to discover opportunities
Collaborate with internal matrix organizations (Channel,
Sales Product Specialist, Technical, Customer Success)
Forecast and assess revenue opportunities
5+ years in sales or sales-related roles in discrete and process manufacturing industries
Strong sales acumen with a disciplined hunter mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Italian
Bachelor (or equivalent) in a relevant field
Ability to plan and execute to meet business objectives
Experience managing complex enterprise sales and partner ecosystems strong resilience and self-motivation integrity cross-functional collaboration
CAD, PLM, ALM, AR, IoT and ERP solutions knowledge (advantage)
knowledge of Windchill, Creo, Codebeamer, Servicemax (portfolio awareness)
experience selling to Manufacturing (Discrete and Process) industries
