PRIMARY FUNCTION

We are looking for an Energy Buyer to join our Global Indirect Procurement team.

The successful candidate will support the definition and execution of the company's energy procurement strategy across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring cost competitiveness, supply security, sustainability targets, and risk management.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in an international and multi-plant environment, collaborating with Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, Sustainability, and Energy Management teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for electricity, natural gas, fuels, and energy-related services across multiple production sites
- Support energy procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiation,



and contract management
- Monitor energy markets, regulatory developments, and industry trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Evaluate and implement purchasing strategies aimed at mitigating energy price volatility and improving cost predictability
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct periodic business reviews
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities related to energy costs
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives, renewable energy sourcing, and decarbonization projects
- Work closely with Finance and Risk Management functions to assess procurement options and hedging opportunities where applicable
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable energy regulations

EDUCATION & SKILLS

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Energy Management, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in one or more of the following roles: Buyer or Energy Specialist
- Experience in a multi-site or multi-plant industrial environment
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of energy markets and procurement processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Familiarity with energy contracts, renewable energy sourcing, and sustainability programs.
- Knowledge of electricity and natural gas markets
- Experience working in international organizations
- SAP or equivalent ERP knowledge

SALARY INFORMATION:

- Applied Contract: CCSL Contratto Collettivo Specifico di Lavoro Iveco Group
- Grade: 1° Gruppo Qualificato
- Salary range: Euro 49.300 – 58.000
- Variable payment as per CCSL Contratto Collettivo Specifico di Lavoro Iveco Group
