We are looking for an Electronics Technician to join a technical service team responsible for the maintenance and support of precision measuring instruments.
The role combines hands-on electronics work with troubleshooting, calibration and after-sales technical support.
San Donato Milanese, Italy | Permanent | On-site Responsibilities
- Perform technical assistance, diagnostics and troubleshooting on electronic measuring instruments.
- Carry out repairs, overhauls and maintenance of equipment.
- Perform calibration and functional testing of measuring instruments.
- Identify technical faults and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Support customers with after-sales technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, interventions and calibration activities.
- Use PC-based tools and software as part of diagnostics and technical support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ensure work is completed according to relevant quality and technical standards.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge of products and equipment.
Requirements
- Technical or professional diploma with a specialisation in electronics.
- 2-5 years of experience in technical assistance, electronics maintenance, instrument repair or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing electronic equipment.
- Good understanding of electronic systems and components.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of basic pneumatics would be an advantage.
- Organised, proactive and motivated to continuously develop technical skills.
- Fluent Italian and professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work on-site in San Donato Milanese.
