Brunel
Brunel are urgently looking to identify a Document Controller with Oil & Gas project experience. This long-term contract position, 12 month renewable, is to work for an international major Operator and you will be residential, office based in Milan, Italy, 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective application of project document control processes, procedures, standards and systems.
- Manage the secure control, review, distribution and quality assurance of project documentation within the EDMS.
- Coordinate with EPC contractor document control teams to ensure timely delivery of compliant project documentation.
- Maintain and monitor Master Document Registers (MDRs), Document Distribution Matrices (DDMs) and document metadata accuracy.
- Support project documentation handover to Operations, ensuring information integrity, completeness and compliance with delivery requirements.
- Respond to document queries and provide document status reporting to project stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with project teams, contractors, Head Office Information Management and EDMS support functions.
- Promote HSSE, ethics and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting project digitalisation and process efficiency programmes.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years’ experience in major oil and gas projects as a Document Controller.
- Relevant professional experience gained from at least two different job roles related to engineering and/or supplier document control on projects or business assets, (ideally operator based with full lifecycle experience).
- Experience working with: Electronic Document Management Systems, MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat and Scanning Software
- Fluent English language skills. Italian advantageous.
