Offer Description Within the Space It Up! project,the research activity will focus on the development of AI-based methodologies for monitoring and analysing high-reliability systems used in the space sector,with particular emphasis on signals generated by atomic clocks,which are key components of satellite navigation systems and timing infrastructures.
The research will include the acquisition,organisation and validation of datasets from ground-based and spaceborne atomic clocks;the development of data pre-processing and preparation procedures;he design,training and optimisation of Machine and Deep Learning algorithms for anomaly detection and characterisation;and the comparison with conventional anomaly-detection methods through suitable performance indicators.
The activity will also include the physical interpretation of detected anomalies,validation of the results, software development, and dissemination of the research outcomes through technical reports and scientific publications.
