What is the role about:
We are looking for an experienced Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consultant to join our team and support clients in designing, configuring, and optimizing their Workday solutions. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, deliver best-practice configurations, support implementations, and provide ongoing guidance to help clients maximise the value of their Workday investment.
Job Description Responsibilities will include:
- Configure and implement Workday Absence and Time Tracking solutions aligned to client requirements and best practices.
- Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend effective Workday solutions.
- Provide expert functional guidance throughout solution design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Advise clients on Workday functionality, enhancements, and industry best practices related to Absence and Time Tracking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration with other Workday modules and HR systems.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support to ensure stable and optimised solutions.
- Develop and deliver user training sessions and supporting documentation.
- Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and project managers.
- Support project planning, status reporting, and issue resolution activities.
Must Have Skills Required
- Minimum of 3 years' hands-on Workday consulting experience focused on Absence Management and Time Tracking.
- Proven experience configuring and implementing Workday Absence and Time Tracking functionality.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes, particularly absence management, leave administration, scheduling, and time tracking.
- Experience leading client workshops, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into system configurations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.
- Experience supporting testing, defect resolution, and production deployments.
- Workday Absence and/or Time Tracking Certification.
- Knowledge of global absence, leave, and time management processes.
- Experience working within consulting or client-facing environments.
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in German/Italian
Other Qualifications/Skills that will be Beneficial but Not Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience with Workday integrations and cross-functional Workday modules.
- Experience delivering end-user training and creating user documentation.
