Duties and Responsibilities:
Typical duties and responsibilities include the following
- Industrial mechanical/ pipe fitting/ hydraulic repair
- Welding,
machining and other fabrication
- Rigging, aligning machines and belt and pulley drives.
- Various preventative maintenance tasks
Qualifications:
The following qualifications are desirable:
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks on heavy equipment.
- Capable of pipe fitting and hydraulic repairs.
- Be willing to work off-shifts, weekends and overtime if required.
- Experience maintaining heavy industrial machinery.
- Welding experience or certifications
Special Requirements:
- Be able to climb ladders and comfortable working in elevated environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, will be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts
- May be exposed to wet or humid conditions.
- May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
- May be regularly exposed to high noise environments.
- May be exposed to extremely dusty environm
