Overview
As Production & Quality Control Manager, you will oversee production, quality, and procurement to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction within a global manufacturing group. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and support digital tools adoption across the value chain. The role combines operations leadership with a focus on quality systems and delivery performance in a highly customized environment. This position offers strategic visibility and opportunities to impact profitability and process excellence.

Responsabilità
- Coordinate and supervise production, assembly, mechanical machining, and quality control activities
- Lead and develop a direct reporting team (Quality Specialist; Production Planning Manager; Workshop Supervisor; Purchasing Manager)
- Ensure KPIs for productivity, quality, on-time delivery, and service performance are met
- Oversee planning and procurement to balance material availability, capacity, and business needs
- Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to manage customer projects and requirements
- Oversee the Quality Management System and drive preventive/corrective actions
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and optimize processes
- Support the evolution of digital tools and systems for manufacturing and supply chain management
- Interface with Group stakeholders in an international business environment
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or equivalent technical background
- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes in customized/engineer-to-order settings
- Experience coordinating Production, Quality, and Supply Chain functions
- Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles; Six Sigma; SMED; 5S is advantageous
- Experience with ERP, MES, and advanced production planning systems
- Familiarity with Opera MES, Cyber Plan, and Mago ERP is a plus
- Fluent English for international interactions
