Operations Specialist, MW Business Unit

Description

This role supports the operational efficiency of the MW Business Unit by managing purchase processes, tracking budgets, and assisting with project and program oversight.

Responsibilities

- Triggering and Following Purchase Processes:
- Initiate Purchase Requests using various tools (e.g., iBuy, SRM).
- Monitor and follow up on Purchase Orders generated from requests.
- Track deliveries and ensure proper goods reception.
- Accurately register purchase and delivery data into the MW dataverse.
- Manage relationships and interactions with suppliers.

- Budget Tracking:

- Provide support to tribes for material and subcontractor cost planning.
- Plan and monitor investment expenditures.

- Project/Program Tracking:

- Assist Technical Project Managers (TPM)



and Project Managers (PM) with cost and effort tracking activities.
- Monitor the progress and financial aspects of Grants and Funded projects.

Qualifications

- Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of budget tracking principles and project management methodologies.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access).
- Familiarity and smart usage of collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.

- Language: Fluent in English, enabling effective communication with international teams.
