G. Eiffel. This pivotal role is situated within our Ocean Customer Service unit and focuses on delivering excellence in forwarding management across Italy,
with particular emphasis on operations related to Fiumicino.Job SummaryAs a Forwarding Management Senior Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing ocean freight forwarding activities. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics solutions that meet customer requirements efficiently, ensuring timely shipment execution while upholding CEVA's standards of quality and compliance. This position demands a strategic thinker with strong operational expertise and the capacity to manage complex forwarding challenges in the Italian market.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end ocean freight forwarding processes to ensure seamless transportation and delivery services.Act as a primary liaison between customers, carriers, internal teams, and external partners to facilitate information flow and resolve operational issues promptly.Oversee shipment planning, documentation, scheduling, and compliance with relevant customs and maritime regulations.Collaborate with sales and operations departments to align logistics solutions with customer needs and company objectives.Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders, proactively addressing potential delays or disruptions.Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels within forwarding activities.Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental,
