As Associate Operations Director at Deel, you will oversee day-to-day operations, optimize performance, and lead cross-functional initiatives to scale processes and reduce friction. Responsabilità

- Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements
- Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual work and boost speed and accuracy
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance tools and reduce friction in processes
- Develop and enforce controls for compliance, risk, and security
- Improve fraud prevention, risk management, and regulatory alignment
- Define and monitor key risk indicators to address gaps
- Drive customer-first process improvements and expand self-service options




- Improve service performance by reducing turnaround times and improving resolution quality
- Oversee readiness for expansion into new markets or services and coordinate launches
- Align processes with go-to-market strategies and ensure smooth onboarding and adoption
- Provide frameworks and resources to enable strong customer outcomes and post-launch optimization
- Partner with stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives and track outcomes
- Establish clear goals, metrics, and reporting; act as a strategic partner to leadership

Requisiti fondamentali

- 12+ years of operations experience with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments (Tech/FinTech startup experience a plus)
- Proven track record xysqume in leading and scaling large cross-functional teams
- KPI-driven with a results orientation
- Experience in building successful products
- Background in FinTech, management consulting, investment banking, or fast-paced startups
- Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented mindset
- High energy and first-principles thinking
- Strong analytical skills with ability to convert data into actionable insights (SQL a plus)
- Willingness to collaborate and contribute across teams
