Join our team as a Senior Field Service Technician and take the lead in supporting clients with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high voltage substations—focusing on switchgear and transformers. You’ll travel across Italy and internationally, tackling technical challenges, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring our customers receive outstanding service. How You’ll Make an Impact

- Manage project performance, submit accurate field service reports, and deliver exceptional customer service that reflects Siemens Energy’s values.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of High Voltage AIS/GIS substations and related equipment.
- Identify and resolve failures or recurring problems in control and system operations for high voltage substations.
- Independently handle service routines in the field, even under challenging conditions.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies at every job site.
What You Bring

- At least 6 years of experience as a Field Service Technician working on Medium or High Voltage.
- Knowledge of High Voltage AIS/GIS substations would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in Windows software and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification. Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 90% of the time, comfortable in multicultural and international environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality commissioning or maintenance services, with a customer-focused approach to solving technical issues and proposing innovative solutions.

The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between € 40,000 – € 45,000 gross per year.
Salary ranges for this role are provided in accordance with applicable local legislation. The stated range is based on the Italian labour market.
