As a SeniorMerchandising Consultant, you will drive category management engagements using our AI-powered platform. You translate customer strategy into effective configurations, guiding stakeholders toward better ways of working. You work across discovery, design, and go-live, balancing advisory insight with hands-on implementation. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes and enable adoption through change management and training. - Lead customer engagements across category management solutions from discovery to go-live
- Facilitate discovery and design workshops, structuring conversations and ensuring the right stakeholders are involved
- Introduce industry best practices and design future-state processes that move beyond current practices
- Support change management by explaining impacts and proposing better paths
- Configure the platform to align with customer strategy, with backend support from technical consultants
- Build, test, and validate configurations; guide customers through User Acceptance Testing

- Utilize AI-assisted tooling to rapidly develop configurations, queries, dashboards, and lightweight automations
- Establish KPI baselines and measurement frameworks pre-go-live and develop analytical queries for insights and business case tracking
- Support training and user adoption, building confidence in day-to-day usage
- Cultivate relationships with operational teams and senior stakeholders as a trusted contact
- Contribute to pre-sales activities including demos, RFI responses, and ROI analyses
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in category management, merchandising, space planning, pricing, promotions, or related functions at retailers or suppliers
- Experience leading customer-facing engagements in consulting, implementation, or as an internal programme lead
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with comfort handling large datasets
- Ability to translate customer strategy into software configurations
- Willingness to adopt AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery
- Ability to lead change across functions and connect category management to broader business areas
- Self-directed and collaborative work style with proactive relationship-building
- Fluent in English and Italian; willingness to travel up to 25%
