As Operations Manager, you will own automation and AI-driven improvements across Deel's global payroll processes. You'll build, test, and iterate AI-powered workflows (Akai) while leading end-to-end projects across multiple workstreams. You'll partner with engineering, product, and ops teams to fix gaps, surface leadership-ready insights, and drive efficiency at scale. This hands-on role rewards proactive problem solving and cross-functional collaboration to advance our global operations. - Execute operational projects and strategic initiatives with senior leaders
- 5+ years of experience in operations in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with building and troubleshooting AI workflows, not just using AI
- Engineering background or equivalent technical exposure preferred
- Experience managing xjncmbx and mentoring small to mid-sized teams
- Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented, solutions-minded
- KPI-driven with track record of improving metrics
- Exposure to process automation and operational tooling
- Background in FinTech, consulting, banking, or fast-paced startups preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into actionable insights (SQL familiarity a plus)
